In order to give you a price for your tattoo idea, I need as much info as possible, so check out my how to book section, then email me! Once I know what you want, how big you want it, where you want it on your body and if you want colour, blackwork, dotwork or just linework, l’ll be able to give you a price estimate. Some tattoos are priced by piece, some are priced by the hour or by day session, so each quote is individual.

I always draw your design closer to your tattoo appointment, and send it to you via email the day before. From there we can make any changes if you want to. If you have included as much information as you possibly can during the booking in process, then what I draw should be close to what you want - if you are worried about this, then get in touch with me to express your worries, I might suggest a short consultation to make sure we are both on the same page design-wise.

As of January 2022 I am working from a private studio based at Hartley Business Centre, Shrewsbury, UK. Go to my contact page to see it on a map.
-
I am located in Unit 8 of Hartley Business Centre, the entrance is in the centre of the building. Inside the foyer is a list of businesses, you’ll find my name next to number 17. Ring the doorbell next to my name to let me know you have arrived, and I will come down to meet you. If I dont answer straight away I may be busy tattooing, I will be down for your appointment time anyway. Please remember my studio is appointment only so please do not come visit if you dont have an appointment.
-
Parking at Hartley Business Centre is free for visitors, and they have a sizeable car park.
-
Yes! I’ll always recommend a consultation appointment (which is free) for a cover up project, so email me to book one and we can discuss your requirements.
-
Yes, but there are sometimes limitations to what we can do, please book a free consultation appointment to discuss. Ideally the scars need to be fully healed and settled, usually over a year old but some scars take longer to settle in. Discussion around your scars will be dealt with in full confidence and with as much sensitivity as possible, this is a judgement free zone.

Please let me know as soon as possible so we can re-arrange your appointment.

See my ‘How to Book’ section for more info!

All products used within the studio are vegan friendly, from the inks used for tattooing right down to the alternative milk for your hot drinks! Please let me know if you are allergic to anything before your tattoo, so I can check ingredients in the products I use for tattooing and substitute if necessary.

I always recommend you bring a cold drink with you to your appointment, ideally water and/or something sugary to keep you hydrated and keep your energy levels up. For longer sessions (2+ hours) bring a snack. Getting tattooed, even if it’s not hurting you too much, still causes reactions within your body which drain your energy reserves. I recommend an energy/cereal bar or some sweets or chocolate.
For day sessions we’ll have a lunch break, so you can bring something with you, or there is a Spar around the corner from the studio. -
Please come alone to your appointment, unless pre-arranged with your artist. Tattooing is not a social occasion, and your artist needs to concentrate fully on your tattoo, there is also no room for guests to sit in the private studio space. If a guest is required for anxiety reasons, they can attend only by prior arrangement with the artist, and will need to wait in the waiting area outside the studio.
-
If you would like to get tattooed by me but have mobility issues, unfortunately the studio is located up a flight of stairs, and there are no lifts. However I will be doing a regular guest spot at One For Sorrow Tattoo Parlour, on Abbey Foregate, so let me know when booking and we can make sure we book you in on a date I’ll be there. One For Sorrow has one small step from the street, and is all on one level. Please let me know if you have any other requirements and I will try to be as accommodating as possible.

My personal recommendation is Hustle Butter, which I sell at the studio, or you can buy online prior to your tattoo session. Hustle butter has been formulated specifically for tattoos with all natural ingredients, and I have been recommending it to my customers for years with excellent results.

After the tattoo has fully healed, so after 4-6 weeks, if you feel your tattoo needs a touch up, please contact your artist as soon as possible to arrange a touch up appointment. Please do not ask for a touch up before this, as during the healing process the tattoo can look a bit strange, it’s all part of the process and it is impossible to tell if a tattoo needs touching up until it’s done it’s thing.
Send a picture of the tattoo that needs touching up to your artist so they know how much needs to be done. Remember your tattoo will never look as vivid as it does on the first day it was done, as the skin forms a layer over the top of the fresh ink to lock it in place, so when it is healed you are viewing it through a layer of skin. Touch ups are only required if the tattoo has any bits missing or uneven, which can happen naturally during healing and is nobody’s fault. -
If you are worried your tattoo has become infected, please contact me as soon as possible and I can advise as best I can, or if you are extremely worried and can’t get hold of me, go and see your GP. More often than not the tattoo may just be irritated, so your artist can put your mind at ease or recommend you have it checked by the doctor if something is amiss.
