About me:
Background
I grew up in North Wales and completed a traditional apprenticeship there in a long established tattoo shop, and started tattooing there in 2013. In 2016 I got the opportunity to move to Shrewsbury and expand my skills even further at Adorn Body Art Gallery, which sadly closed in early 2020. I then spent almost 2 years at One For Sorrow Tattoo Parlour in Abbey Foregate, before taking the plunge to open my own private studio space at the begining of 2022.
Personal style
My interests in pop and nerdy culture spill over into a traditional influenced, illustrative tattoo style. I love to produce bold designs in colour, blackwork and dotwork. Creating a comfortable atmosphere
I am no stranger to mental heath struggles, and because of this my goal is to create an inclusive, comfortable and calm environment for my customers - so if you suffer with any kind of anxiety and are struggling with the concept of coming to a new environment to get a tattoo, please reach out to me and I’ll do whatever I can to make the whole experience as comfortable as possible for you.
Hygiene
I have a bit of a nerdy interest in hygiene standards which means I go above and beyond the required guidelines for cleanliness within the tattoo process. Whenever I get the chance I’ll attend seminars on tattoo hygiene, as well as tattoo technique seminars, and I am consistently up to date with blood borne pathogen training and first aid.
Travel
I love to travel, and any chance to attend a convention or guest spot in another city I’ll jump at! So if you live far away from me and would like to be tattooed by me, feel free to recommend your local tattoo convention to me, or your local tattoo shop if they accept guest artists.
Other interests
Outside of tattooing I spend most of my time with my very spoiled cat Pizza, hiking, watching Anime, I sometimes play the guitar and love watercolour painting!
